Most Indy's will do this, often as a menu item depending what is needed. Whereabouts are you so people can recommend the nearest

There are two different types of 944 turbo front caliper. '220' turbos (and S2s) would fit I think (never done it), you may need to change the disks though. Later '250' turbos had a larger caliper (commonly called medium blacks) that have a different fitment but could be made to fit with an adaptor. You would definately need to change the disks for these.

Brembo calipers aren't cheap, even if they are in need of a refurb. Buy your friend a drink [:D]

Measure the dia of the pistons. If they are in the region of 36 or 34mm and 32mm they are the 220 turbo/S2 calipers, if they are 40mm & 36mm (I think) then they are the 250 turbo Medium Black's. The rear calipers were the same on both models (and the S2).

When i refurbed the front callipers on my S2 a few years ago (two new pistons and new seals all round), IIRC they were 36mm and 40mm pistons. The rear callipers although the same size as the front, had smaller pistons, but these were all freely moving, so i left well alone!

AFAIK, my S2 has standard suspension and brakes.

OK i've just consulted the workshop manual:-

Early 220 turbo & S2:-

Front: 36mm & 38mm though later (post '87) cars had 36mm & 40mm

Late turbo medium blacks:-

Front 36mm & 44mm

FYI the rears on all turbos and S2's are 28mm & 30mm though externally on the 220 turbo and S2's the rear calipers look identical to the front calipers, on the later turbos the front calipers look different and are physically larger.
