Hi all...
Heads up to anyone needs to replace their 944 Turbo Water Coolant Header Tank, as I have info on this...

I bought one from Design 911, which very clearly states on their website that it would fit the 944 Turbo. It definitely doesn’t, as the Turbo has two normal size oulet/inlet pipes on it - - the 924S/944 NA (which this was for) has only one (i.e. 944 106 125 06). This has been returned for refund [:'(]

I should have looked closer on PET [8|], and usually do, but this post is purely to help prevent anyone making the same mistake.
I now have the correct one coming from Porsche... (i.e. 944 106 025 02).

(Only replacing as the old one really does look a bit blown, brown and brittle with it’s age and don’t want to risk a crack in it!)

PS the Turbo drives beautifully with (almost) seamless boost - love it [:)]

Coincidentally I am picking up a shiny new (and white) one for my S2 from Silverstone on Saturday [:D]

I've got a brand new one sat in its box that I never fitted and will sell for less than Porsche want for a new one [;)]

I also have a brand new Expansion Tap pressure cap to go with it...

Expansion Tank - 951 106 025 02 (Price at Porsche with Club discount £202.77)
Cap - 944 106 257 00 (Price at Porsche with Club Discount £13.76)

I'll do both delivered in the UK for £160.00 [:)]

SOLD

Oh well, you win some, you lose some... shame, you could have Pm’d me...
I missed your reply to this post, as I was busy this morning - never mind.
