turbo gearbox oil cooler

so it looks like I'm going to need one of these, mine is leaking like sieve. I might be lucky and find its a connector but I doubt it.
The problem is getting another. PCGB £910 incl VAT and on global back order.
I'm waiting for Tom at Augment to get me a price for his and I notice others have built one around universal cooler.
Anyone done anything else or source and OEM one at a better price?
I assume I need one for normal road use or might I manage without until I could source another? Not all boxes have oil coolers although I think the turbos do.

I got a price from Tom for one as mine was leaking from the end - 2 new seals and a realignment of the locking pawl and it's fine. I believe that the OEM part is NLA and Tom's kit was £300+.

Using a universal cooler and all the adaptors, etc. came in at around £180 IIRC.

where is it leaking?...these are pretty simple things...mine had a leak on the union clamp that goes into the box...a new 'O' ring from my sons collection at work soon fixed that..cost a few pence....if the coil itself is damaged I'd remove it and access the damage with a view to repair or replace it entirely with something else suitable for the job. At the end of the day it's just a coiled/ribbed hose designed to help cool the oil via air movement over it, I haven't looked into what's available but I'd bet there are plenty of alternatives and if you know someone with the right gear you'd be able to make something very similar to factory specs.

I've wondered if the gearbox pump has enough guts to pump cold g/box oil through a rad rather than just a tube.

I have a remanufactured one from jon mitchell with new 'ends' I think they can corrode as well as just being an o ring issue.
Dont recall how much it cost though.
