Turbo gotta go

Due to a career change I will be putting the turbo up for sale. I am in no rush to sell the car but am offering it up to anyone on the forum first as I would prefer it go to someone I know. Anyone who doesn't know my car, please feel free to contact me for a full spec. There are some photos on photobox, which really don't do the car justice.

The car has just been to Jon Mitchell for a full inspection 12K service, gearbox oil replaced with swepco and front end rebuild including waterpump, all belts, rollers, tensioners seals etc etc....I also had Jon do a compression test on the car which registered the following 125,130,131,130, which basically means it is just run in. It is going back in mid October to have the belt tensions checked and the aircon regassed. I would prefer not to arrange viewings before this has been done.

In short it is an immaculate guards red, low mileage (85K) 1991 Turbo SE (on private plate) with dealer/specialist history, it has full M030 factory options (adj, Koni's, big brakes, ARB's etc), it has black leather interior with electric sports seats, aircon, all electrics, full closure Clifford CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser, boxster twist alloys (I believe?) P-zeros all round, colour coded bridge spoiler, promax level 1a fitted by Andrew Sweetenham and accuboost controller set up by Jon Mitchell to17psi.

It has had lots of new parts fitted in the last 2 years including new aircon condenser, full aircon overhaul to new CFC free standards it has also had new brake discs and pads.

Anyway, I thought I would put out a few feelers, I am looking for offers over £10K

Since this was going to fall off page 1 with no comment then let me say "bummer". It does look and sound like a nice car and I'm sure it will find a new home if that is what you really want.

Hi Fen,

I really don't want to sell her but unfortunately cannot afford to keep her as I have an extremely expensive hobby (flying) which I am hoping I can make into a career.

Scott has contacted me and may be interested in buying or maybe a part ex with his 87 turbo, so we will see what happens.

Hi Dan

Well, Mrs Clap is trying to persuade me to get a good 964/tired 993, but the more of them I see the more I want another 944 Turbo!!
Anyway, mid to late October sounds about the right time frame, depending where in the world you are (I'm in West Sussex). Please let me know when you're ready for viewings: andyATprentisitDOTcom

Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,

The car is in a garage in Islington, I will let you know when she is ready for viewing [;)]

Sorry to read this Dan,

Your turbo is certainly one of the tidiest I have seen.

I would have it but 3 would be greedy, the wife wont part with the auto Lux and I have grown to like the "green one" even though its rough around the edges.

Mike[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]...........Im not being rude......its that colour!

Hi Dan

Sorry Mate, but Mrs Clap has got her way and we're now looking for a 993. Once she has got this out of her system I SHALL return to the 944T brotherhood!!!

Cheers
Andy

No worries, although I would still come and have a look at it with the Mrs, she may just change her mind [;)] as I said the pics don't do her justice.[:D]
