Turbo intake J boot

Hi

Well having got hold of a used engine, the swap is nearly finished, plus lots of tidying up whilst in there.

A couple of bits didnt like being disturbed, one being the rad, the other being the intake boot. The diverter(blow off, dump) valve connection had split. It looks like it is blanked off inside, has anyone else had one of these apart and looked inside?

I suppose I'll know when the new one arrives, but I was just curious.
