Just to say the turbo is back from Exeter opc, having covered nearly 3000 miles across France
It needed a bit of tlc .
Front end is now re-sprayed and the clutch slave cylinder is sorted.
Tanya and I had the pleasure of the new Caymen S for a week and I must say what a brilliant car for the money
Speed is good, handling is excellent and ride very comfortable.
But I am with Geoff on this one, I tried the pdk on all settings, yes it is brilliant but I still prefer the input of the left foot and shifter

Brilliant news, Paul. [:)]

Just hope the weather cheers up a bit so you can get out and about in it

Regards,

Clive,

Great news Paul, have you thought about having the front done with a clear wrap now it's in mint condition?

Yes much cheaper, the PU was under warranty and the bonnet was £240.00 inc. of vat
all thanks to Wayne at Exeter. Just needs lots of wax for protection now.
It is inevitable I will get stone chips because I am always behind you pair[:D]
Looking forward to the next drive. with less luggage

We've had a PPF applied to the front of the 'car that shall not be named in Clive's presence' and you have to really look to see that it's there. How it stands up to stone chips remains to be seen but we've heard good things so we'll see...

Glad the Turbo is all fixed. Are you coming Oop North for the proposed Lakes/North Yorks trip in the Autumn? Would be great to catch up.

Paul
Yes if only £240 it is cheaper to get it painted each time... [;)]
I had it done on this one due to chips down the sides!! after a fair few miles now 8K it's looking spot on for chips- as in none! [:D]

The downside is, it's more expensive to repair if you scrape it as you also need to replace the skin in addition to paintwork. []

Regards,

Clive.

Paul

I have had a wrap put on the new car from Paintshield but it did cost £1500 so that is a few paint jobs.
