Advice please,
Would the 18" turbo look rear wheels and tyres 295 30 18 off a 996 C4S fit on to a 993 C2S?

You need to check the exact size with the supplier of the wheels. This article

http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=112688

shows all the various fitments for the 993 - just check that the 996 wheels are the right size for your 993. (It's the detail like 10x18 ET65 that you need to check).

Regards
Anton

996 turbo look wheels are 8j front et 50 or 52 and will bolt on with perfect offset, so no problem there.
the rear c4s wheel is 11j et 45 where the 993 widebody wheel is 10j et 40 but their is always a bit of scope for extra width over std ,the proposed wheel is 1inch wider but is 5mm further in the wheel arch, It's close but i think it will fit without giving you the "carlos fandango" look if your old enough to know the cigar advert!
