Turbo - Petrol Fumes

When accelerating hard, or even if accelerating in 5th when 3rd would be a better bet, I get a strong smell of fumes in the car.

It seems to be worse when I have a full fuel tank.

...any idea's where to start looking?

I'm giessing any leaks will evaporate before I get to see them?

Have a look at the state of the fuel hoses running from the filler to the tank - you can get to them by unscrewing a small panel just behind the rear seat. IIRC it is sealed with some fairly strong black mastic as well. See if any of the clips need tightening
I did this in one of my 924S's - although this was to fix a general small when the tank was fairly full.

Don't know anything about where the tanks themselves leak from though

I take it that you've checked the condition of your fuel return lines under the car? It seems to make sense that it would be in use most when the engine is under high load at low rpm like you say. Mine had a whole section missing at the front when I first bought the car, you could smell fuel from that.
