Gents, doing a refresh on the ignition system after some recent hesitatio, recommended plugs for the car, mapped and boost raised etc ??

Linky works nicely for me. Try looking for eBay item number 261953473884.

I buy my S2 plugs from him (WR5DC+) and he's a good seller.

Got it now. Oddly, clicking on the original link it doesn't but where I quoted Eldavo it does.

I think I have WR5 in right now no issue. Be careful though as Bosch go one way and NGK go the other way I think. There are guides available on line with a quick search using a well known internet search engine. I wouldn't advocate using their shopping hits though [:D]

Interesting. I've always used the Bosch WR7DC or the NGK equivalent, running a tad north of 300 bhp, without issue. What is the case for the colder plug out of interest? Safer?

In a nutshell the more forced induction the hotter the cylinder temperatures can be and the hotter the plug can potentially be. A "colder" plug dissipates the heat better through the electrode and hence reduces the risk of pre-ignition from the electrode tip being hot enough to ignite the fuel air mixture.
