Turbo torque tube wanted

Hi guy's....Just spent the the last few hours with my mechanic brother in law removing the gear box to find why I had no drive...turns out the torque tube is minced at the gearbox end just before the coupling. Any body got a good spare turbo torque tube for sale?

Cheers

John Daly.

Top tip: get a 968 torque tube instead, if you can. They have an access panel at the front end that allows a clutch to be changed without having to slide the torque tube rearwards. It halves the labour time for a clutch replacement. It is a direct fit for sure.

I didn't know about this... good tip Scot, if my torque tube ever goes I'll se sure to only fit a 968 one, having changed my clutch myself in the past this would be a welcome relief...[:)]

I think you're getting confused with the clutch cover - the clutch end of both t tubes are basically the same.

Thanks for the info fella's - I will call around the various breakers tomorrow. Is the S2 torque tube the same as the turbo?

Sorry to hear this John [:(] As the guys have said i'ts not that often we hear of torque tube problems so the breakers should have plenty at a reasonable price

Haven't heard from you in a while, obviously you've been busy enjoying all that 422 power [8D]
