many thanks james

Hi,
I have 18" Turbo on my Carrera 2 with recommended tyre sizes front 225/40/ZR18 N1 rears 265/35/ZR18 N1 with pressures same as turbo 2.5 bar front, 3.0 bar rear [:)]

i will be buying a set from jasmine is now retracted as they are asking £1250 for just the wheels so i have located a set of solid turbo wheels and will be travelling to surrey to get them tomorrow. what are peoples opinions on hollow or solid wheels?

James,

Whatever you buy make sure the rears are ET65 offset as these are what you need for a narrow body car.

If you try to fit ET40's as per the Turbo model and then lower the car the tyres will rub on the wheel arch lips. I found this out at my expense..!

Turbo twist are available in both offsets.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the info ,i actually remember you telling me you had to have a set of two new rear wheels to the ET65 offset when you lowered N48URJ on bilsteins! i have sourced a set so watch this space! i saw your lovely car at porsche and picnic but i couldnt see you anywhere ? will see you at a meeting soon though!

James

Sorry we missed you at Porsche and Picnic, winters here now so looks like the meets will dry up but try to catch somewhere. Hows the new car going, you pleased with it?

Andy.
