Turbos - "Excellence" magazine

Just picked up the Feb issue of "Excellence" (OK I know it's very hard to find in the UK) but there is an article about two turbo installations on 968's. At least one of these cars will be familiar to readers of 968.net as it belongs to Dan de Gruchy. Interesting read (if you can find a copy!)

John, where did you find it? Or do you subscribe?

The PowerHaus turbo is what I would do if I ever won the lotto. A stealth machine with no exterior mods. About 400-475hp if I remember right [:)]

Any chance of scanning a bit of it and posting here to wet our appetites? a picture with high drool factor would be good.

Don't think anyone would be offended do you?

It's a 3 or 4 page article, so scans would be huge, and I'm not on broadband (rats!) I'll try scanning it though, if someone can host it.

Magazine is hard to find I know, but some smaller independent newsagents keep it, as does Borders bookshop sometimes. Don't bother with WH Smiffs tho.

Excellence is really, well, EXCELLENT !!

Not entirely sure I agree, there is not a helluva lot of copy, and and an AWFUL lot of repetitive ads.

By comparison, "GT Pure Porker" has fantastic photgraphy, accompanied by amatuerish and innacurate dribble, and "911 and Pig World" is good if a mite homespun (although they recently featured a very charming Scotsman and his 968!)

Sadly "Piglet Post" is just plain dull.

Just my opinion ... no flames please []

Just my opinion ... no flames please

I say pork rules!

A few controlled flames with a selected pork fillet on the BBQ would go down a treat though, drink in hand of course. LOL
