A silver Rose for auction on ebay, wonder if the Scottish polisher has tried to buy it yet. Also a very nice, high specification 3.0 16v turbo for a good price.

Personally, I don't know what the fuss is about with the Silver Rose, if Porsche hadn't upgraded the late 944 Turbos, then it would be a special car, but all the other enhancements e.g. suspension are just obsolete by modern standards, age, and mileage. Almost like the 968 Clubsport vs Sport debate. :ROFLMAO:

There is a beautiful white 968 for sale currently with lots of work done by the owner (I followed the progress on instagram). Strong money but it is a sorted car which needs nothing doing.

There has been a few 944 Turbos turning up on ebay, tellingly most don't show any pictures of the chassis condition... read of that what you will.

The Turbo S was was built at Stuttgart, and someone that knows what they're talking about told me they weren't built as well as the Neckarsulm turbos. Especially when it came to the rust proofing. A turbo S was around £500 more than an 89 on 250 bhp turbo 15 years ago. It's a nonsense the extra money a S sells for today, especially if it isn't one of the original Silver Rose painted cars.
