Turning off alarm after jumping car

Hi, guys.

New member here.

Like a plonker I let my battery go flat. When I start the engine after jumping it, the alarm goes off.

I've read on other forums I'm supposed to shut the driver's door, lock it then unlock it (or something similar, I tried a few things) but it doesn't work.

Can anyone help?

I just started the jump with the ignition on already. (And if anyone else reads this in the future, you then need to reset the windows by putting them down, holding the switch down for 10 seconds then putting them up.
