Two GT3's too many for one man?

Perhaps not, but for those who know I acquired a gorgeous 03 Comfort a couple of months ago, they will also know I really wanted a CS, so was looking for bucket seats for it. Luckily I have now found a pair and they have a complete car with roll cage, harnesses etc attached! [:)] Even better it's the fastest colour, so the question is, should the silver one stay or go? I have a car storage problem already and the red CS arrives next week, so I think I know the answer.........

BTW if anyone can help with car storage within reasonable distance of Lanark, please make contact. For a small consideration, of course!

So many GT3s so little time to drive them both. I can always help you out with that problem Richard. [:D]

Most kind, Robin, you are ever considerate. However I was hoping for an offer of car storage.... :ROFLMAO:

Well it confirmed what I already knew which was that I really wanted a CS! Problem was availability and affordability....... Problem solved with a chance encounter at the Ring and I just need a buyer for the Comfort now. Very suitable for someone looking for a daily driver! [:D]

Well done Richard you did well to persuade Paul to sell the cs??

Oulton porsche club trackday next Wednesday to celebrate?

Not sure how much of the persuasion was mine - SWMBO might have been involved a bit.... Anyway I'd had the Lotus day tomorrow in mind but there didn't seem much enthusiasm from this end thanks to the weather, so I've had my fingers crossed for Wednesday. The forecast didn't look great when I checked earlier today, but maybe it will improve. It would tie in with collecting the CS from Paul (if he hasn't lost patience with me changing all the arrangements!). Been trying to combine the trip with showing the Polar car to someone in Norfolk, but it's getting too complicated. Presume you're thinking of going and maybe Mark?

You doing Oulton, Neil? Forecast looks OK, if quite cool.

Well I chickened out of taking the CS on track when I saw the weather yesterday morning as I woke in Worcestershire. Finally arrived at Oulton as the afternoon session started, and people were cracking on but I wasn't for learning a new car on a circuit I don't really know, even though the racing line was fairly dry most of the way round. Ended up passengering with Trev Wilkinson(?) in his 3.8 GT3 6/2 and then headed north as I knew no-one else and it's a fair haul home. Thought I might have seen you there, Neil, and you could certainly have had Gordon's voucher.
The CS feels noticeably different from the Comfort and the CG corner weighting last year seems to have made it more user-friendly - or maybe I'm just more used to a GT3! Anyway I'm very happy with it and here's a very poor picture of it half an hour after we did the deal. No significance in it being at a bus stop!

The registration number has gone back to its previous owner and I was very happy to learn I get a GT03 plate for nothing! GT03 LOV (geddit?) :ROFLMAO:
