two little niggles

Have been driving my 944 daily for the past few months and it has been without fault however two little niggles have developed in the last week, If anyone has any ideas or advise on what the problem may be it would be much appreciated.

Problem one: The gear stick has started to vibrate under load but not at idle.

Problem two: As I am coming off the accelerator or accelerating there is a bit of a lurch as if the mounts have gone.

Would be good to narrow down the options before I investigate this weekend so any ideas as to what I should be looking for would be much appreciated, thanks, Jamie C

I have something similar when I come off the accelerator (mine is more like 2 or 3 mini-lurches) which I am guessing is engine or gearbox mounts. The not-so-great search function on this site didn't bring back any results when I searched though.

Sorry I can't help but I await responses from those more knowledgeable with interest.

Sounds like could be engine mounts - o/s one is prone to go first , its a bit close to the exhaust etc. Bit of an awkward job, but
can be done with engine still in car.
Check for liquid under mounts.

I always thought this was clutch-related where the central rubber cone is breaking down or not doing its job so effectively. Mine sometimes does the same if I'm not smooth, but I'll live with it for the time being.
