Pistons and Porps Sywell Event

I regret to have to inform you that a vote was taken at the Regions Club night 'Should we attend as a Club the Sywell Classic event'
The outcome of the vote was unanimous. As a Club we should NOT attend the Sywell event.

I do not wish to explain by going into a blow by blow account of the details leading to the vote be taken. However, in brief when we were first invited to attend as a Club I emailed the organisers and stated quite clearly that we could only attend on the Sunday.

It would now appear that our single day booking should never have been accepted or someone has moved the goalposts.

I had several conversation offering what I thought were sensible solutions to the ensure the Club could attend on the Sunday only.
These were rejected and a final e mail arrived from the Promoters and Events Directors stating that unless we as a Club attended on both the Saturday and Sunday they could not accept our single day booking.

What a shame. I guess you had been looking forward to the event as much as I had.
