Hi new to the forum. My rear tyers on my 911 targa (Michelin pilot sport 285/30ZR18) need to be replaced. Can anyone recommend a tyer supplier in London that cheep and any other tyer that offers better valule. Many thanks..:)

If you are keeping the car, invest in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso N4s all round. They are, apparently lighter than Michelins, use a better construction, provide a quieter and more comfortable ride and perform better in the wet and dry. Also see Peter Robinson's endorsement in Autocar (996 long term test).

If not, and cost is your concern, then shop around for some replacement Michelins.

Wherever you go, make sure they can remove and refit the tyres without damaging the rims or the tyre beading. Only selected tyre fitters should be trusted.

Try Mytyres.co.uk

Michelin pilot sport 285/30ZR18 cost £210.40
Pirelli P ZERO ROSSO Asimmetrico 285/30 R18 93ZR N4 cost £170.10

I very much agree with the advice to go with the Pirellis. I have found Elite tyres at Dagenham to provide an excellent all round service with good prices and very high quality fitting. They do a lot of high performance cars so know their job well. They can also do a full geometry check and adjustment at good prices.

No connection just a very satisfied user over 10 years.

Bracknell tyres can beat anyone. By far the cheapest, I used them for my Audi TT and they were the cheapest, now have a C4 and will be going back when these 4 are threaded!

Daft question but where are Bracknell tyres, Bracknell I guess. If thats correct its not much good for the original enquiry as it was for a supplier in London.
Out of interest what is their price on 18 C4 rears, I use Pirellis Rossos?
