Additionally I am concerned about the change in V6 engine size by VW to I believe 3.6 litres leaving Porsche high and dry with the 3.2 version of the motor. Together with the strong possibility of a diesel version will this leave the V6 and possibly the 4.5S as the unwanted puppies in the litter with dire effects on resale?

I have had my Cayenne S since June 2003.It has done about 7000 in all sorts of conditions including the Alpes in snow and really i cannot say that i can detect any appreciable wear at all.It is on standard 18 inch wheels and tyres which i must say do not like snow.I guess it is how u use em.

Got 15k out of them in a year, and I don't nurse them, thought that wasn't bad.
Nothing at all to do with the thread but just comer back from Menorca and saw 2 Cayenne S's, one 911 3.2 sse targa and a 924 lux. So the straw poll says the Cayenne has it by a whisker!
