Tyre compressor

First post here so please go gentle..

I suspect my recently acquired 944 Cab is missing its spare tyre compressor. Before I try to source a spare, can anyone advise where it should be located in the car - there is no sign in the vicinity of the spare/jack etc, but just wondered if it had an odd hiding place?

Cheers,
Ian

It should be in a big black plastic briefcase type thing that sits in the middle of the spare wheel.

Carl,
on the Cabs there is a large rubber vibration damper that prevents access to the offside wheel well storage.

I wondered what that was. What does it do and why only on the cab?

Funily enough I knew this - but I have never seen one, so just figured it was about the same size as a can of Bods!

It's a lot bigger than that. Probably about 6" diameter and almost the full width of the cubby long. If you drop something under it then it's a pain to get it back out as you struggle to get an arm in past it.
