Tyre cost

Hi all,

May be useful info': just had 4 new tyres fitted in the last week for £753 inc vat 2 x 295/30/18/ZR & 2 x 225/40/18/ZR Pirelli P Zero N4. Obtained the tyres from Tyretraders.com which were delivered to a decent fitting station which also did a full geo check and adjustment for an additional £90.
I think this is a pretty good price as I was getting quotes for over £1k for Bridgestone equivalents before finding tyretrader site.

Regards
Mark

ps. the car handles brilliantly now - so well in fact that since the new tyres have been fitted I have spent some of the savings on a £60 donation to the local constabulary along with them autographing my licence once more...[:(]

That's not bad, Northway charged around 180 per tyre though mid last year for P Zero Rosso's, they were only 225's though. Not sure what they would be this year mind....

Just bought exactly the same tyres through Cardiff OPC for just under £900 inclusive VAT and Nitrogen....

Had a wonderful morning, coffee, read the paper and chatted to guys about my car...

Worth the slightly extra cost!

Cheers
Sean

Just had 2 new fronts Bridgestones in the same size as you quote fitted for £300 today, didn't need the rears but they were £490 if I had.

Ihave used a website previously for my last car it works the same as tyretrader where you pay the site then just turn up at the garage and get them fitted. The website i use is called blackcircle.com, i just quickly checked and standard rear 17's are £157 for conti sport contact 2s and £159 for bridgestone s02's. Thats fully fitted and includes disposal, however i'd have to check 18's as they will be slightly more expensive.

Hi

I think Blackcircles may be a franchise - when I was searching for the best price on their site I was directed to the same fitting station where my tyres were eventually fitted via Tyretraders.com - Christchurch Tyres, Dorset. The Blackcircles route was more expensive though...

Hi,
Got my rear tyres from Elites in Rainham 295/30/18 Pirelli Rosso N4 for £446.38 for 2 all up, was the cheapest around at end of last year[:D]

I got my Bridgestone's from 'Bracknell Tyre & Battery', the rear tyres cost me £411 fitted (285-30-18ZR). I thought that was good!
New fronts needed this year.
