Tyre pressure 992

I’m looking to soften my ride slightly , i Carry no weight and have been advised 29 in the front and 31 in the rear , is this correct or can these be lowered still to soften the ride slightly , 992 4s
 
911's traditionally are stiffly sprung - they are designed to be high performance sports cars. AWD 911's tend to be stiffer still due to their additional weight.
Increased wheels circumferences evolved to accommodate larger brakes and resulted in lower tyre profiles. These features greatly improve road holding/handling, but make for a harsher ride.

Personally, I would be reluctant to alter tyre pressures significantly from recommended levels. More often than not, this alters the tyre/road contact patch, reducing adhesion and vehicle performance.
Fitting a set of winter wheels and tyres may improve ride quality at this time of year.
But 911's generally are stiff to the detriment or ride comfort because they are intended to be that way. [;)]

I just wondered as there is a tyre pressure setting in the pcm for putting lowers pressure and activating comfort
