Hi Guys,
Aplogies if this has been covered but can the tyre pressure monitoring system be deactivated? I have just bought a 997 Turbo privately and has gone in for its major service and I knew from the 111 point check it needed new valves. However one of the rears were kerbed so I decided to put on an old spare I bought from Ebay for a bargain as I had turbo wheels on my C4S (without tyre pressure monitors).
OPC Colchester are saying that it cannot be disabled which I am sure is incorrect. There was a post somewhre on a forum about TPMS being deactivated by a dealer.
If they are adomant that it cannot be done can you fit a sensor to a wheel that previously didn't have one and if so anyone know cost?
Advice would as always be greatly appreciated
Ben
