tyre pressure monitors

hi there can anyone tell me what i need to do to get them to work on another set of wheels . the turbo has the tyre pressure monitors on the original wheels but i have a set of gen 11 alloys without the monitors on them what is my best option, cheers nick

My non-Porsche experience of this is that you can buy additional sensors. Each sensor has a code and you need to tell the car which coded sensor is in which wheel.

You have to buy a set of monitors and have them fitted to each wheel. Then once they are the car the system will "learn" the new wheels and show the pressures on the dash. Alternatively if you dont want to use tyre pressure monitoring then you can have your Porsche centre switch it off that way you dont have a constant warning light on the dash if you use wheels on the car that dont have monitors fitted
