Please can someone tell me what the correct tyre pressures are for a set of 17" cup 1 alloys on a 3.2 cabriolet. I think they should be 36 psi all round.
Thanks in advance [:)]

Had a look at the 964 that has cup 1 on they should be 36psi front (2.5bar) & 44psi rear (3bar) thats from the drivers manual for the 964
But I was told by a Porsche specialist to knock a few lbs off each figure

AFAIK, and have used with great success is the stock pressures recommended by the car. The wheel/tyre combo is totally irrelevant. Maybe going with a taller profile would benefit from a higher pressure but certainly going to 17" or 18" diameter rims does not need higher pressures.

I have ran 17" on my 3.2 and 18" on my 930 all with stock pressures of the vehicle with great success.

Stock pressures are 36 all round on 17" wheels.

They are only 44 on rears of 16" wheels.

I've ran my RS on 32/36 for a long time and does fine...until it gets to track when after 10mins I have let out about 20psi!
