I'm sure this has been raised before but can someone help?

I am running 18" Turbo Twist replicas with Continental N2s. Recommended 36 F - 44R feels really hard and skittish.

Car has been set up by Center Gravity and wear pattern is fine.

No track day work just fast road - what is best compromise between reasonable comfort / grip / tyre wear?

Any help gratefully received.
