when i bought my turbo, the garage reccomended that the front be 28 and the rear 32, and told me that these are not what porsche reccomend, but in there opinion these pressures complement the car in all aspects of driving, what do other turbo owners run in there cars.

Way too low. I always run mine at the recommended pressures of 36/44psi. Running as low as 28/32 will give uneven wear, and will also upset the handling.

better get a bit more air in then, does the ride become hard at these pressures.

Yes - it will feel a slightly harder ride, but the car should feel lighter through the steering. You could try lowering them by 3-4psi, but I personally wouldn't go lower than that.

ould be great to have achart as to what each model requires as pressures, I have 996 Cab 2002 with Conti Tyres.

2.5 Bar front, 3 Bar rear. As Richard says. Any less and you'll wear the edges - the Michelin man at the Porsche thingy at Silverstone last weekend confirmed that, although he said Michelins were far superior to the Pirrellis I have fitted [:'(] personally I love 'em []
