hi ! could someone please give me a rough price guide to four new tyres for a my 2006 boxster with 19inch carrera alloys on it ! also what make would you go for !! thanks .

Continental SPort Contact2 no longer available.

Your choice is Michelin Pilot Sport2 or Bridgestone RE050. These are the only N rated options for 987 Boxsters currently.

The former are the best but rare as hens teeth (due to fire in factory 2 years ago, still trying to recover the demand made worse by Conti's withdrawal), Bridgestones not exactly freely available either !

Price - in Michelin you'll be looking at around £225 each for fronts and £290 each for rears from a competent local tyre dealer - add £40-50 a corner for an OPC although they will often try to price match. Bridgestones a bit cheaper, but not much.

www.blackcircles.com or www.mytyres.co.uk will give you an idea of availability !

Don't forget to check the correct N number on the tyres too, not just size - i would imagine the Michelins are still N1
Good luck !

Event Tyres are worth are a close look - see their website as I was amazed at their prices and service - both very good. The convenience of them coming to you is fantastic.
