Hi Richard, I've got Contis, N2 Contact Sport on my 4S & have done at least 16k miles on them with 3-4 mm left!! This has included a Novice track day at Blyton Park, where 'feathering' obviously occurred & 2 trips to Europe totalling 4k miles & 3 figure speeds on open roads..... Wouldn't consider anything else when the time comes to replace them. I used Event-Tyres, they came to me [:)] hth Regards Paul

Sounds a lot better I just cannot believe how the Pitellis have worn out I have driven some fast cars including urquattros in the late 80s and 90s but need to lilimit my costs Will get a price Thanks

Just been advised that I need 4 new tyres
Fitted new Pirelli Rosso on rear 6k ago

What are the best tyres for wear I am not able to drive the car hard and fast due to my wifes disability

WE love the hard firm feel of the car but would like to get as much life as possible out of a set of tyres

Any ideas please

Richard@porschedrivers.co.uk or richardjjs@yahoo.co.uk Have you done this and is it difficult to remove the part that uses double sided tape Did get your post I think Thanks

Would recommend Continentals do not fit.Bridgeston as the tyre noise is ridiculous and the Pirelli's are known for there poor wear on modern Porsche's.

Thanks - Looks like ive got a couple of month wear left No longer drivE competativly (Cant afford the petrol or Speeding fines!!) Just want to use the car and enjoy it Came down the Elan Valley in Wales after fitting a pair od silencers from the Porsche Shop and she sounded like a Merlin (Even better than my quattro) Tell you something the scenery in North West Scotland knocks the Spots of Wales but they have not got a decend Dam in the whole of Scotland
