tyres and now a water leak!

Like the sound of the Kuhmos or Toyo Proxes. I will price them to see how much fitted.
After a drive yesterday, pulled up outside the house and it was like a steam bath. The rubber pipe leading to the water pump has split. It looks as though the jubilee clip has cut through the pipe. I need to do a temporary fix to get the car back down to Kent from London. Does anyone know of a tape or sealent i could use?

Hi

My pipe went at the same place last week.

If it is the one on the right side of the water pump plastic outlet elbow it is only a short peice and any good motor shop or halfords will have a peice the same diameter to replace it completely which is what I did (or that is what the green flag man did a few weeks ago[:(])

Better to replace it now than carry on with a leek.

Iam running new Toyo Proxes T1S they seem a fantastic tyre and a bargain

Hope you get it sorted

Lee

My exact same hose blew two weeks ago. To make matters more exciting the coolant resevoir is awash with oil. [:(].

Cheers Lee!

Was going to do it myself but took your advice and joined the AA this morning. Call them out tomorrow.

Thanks again Colin
