could any one tell me what combination of tyres i should fit on my 1985 3.2 carrera with 15 inch fuch alloys it should have 185/70/15 front 215/60/15 on the rear according to the hand book but these sizes are no longer avaliable. i would like to fit a full set of either michelin or continental if possible.

Ive just checked blackcircles and it looks like the rears are still available but the fronts are now obsolete. You might have to go up to 195/65 on the fronts. Better still get a nice set of 16" Fuchs they look loads better and the tyres are widely available.

I've got a set of 16" Fuchs available. 6s & 7s

The 7s have good tyres on them fit last summer and have only just come off the car, its used daily so they haven't gone dry or flatted spotted. The 6's need new tyres.

They're not perfect but are decent enough.

If you want the original sizes for your 15 " wheels try the vintage tyre company www.vintagetyres.com
Ive just bought the original size 185x70x15 and 215x60x15 FULDAs from them and had them fitted at my local tyre dealer.
