Tyres for 924

Tyre size 185 x 70 x 14
Looking for a tyre which has really good grip in the wet - need this as I live in Wales. Also need it to be good in the dry. Not worried about speed of wear as mileage not high
Can anyone make a recommendation please?
 
My 924S has Vredestein Snow/Rain tyres and they are amazing, everything else I have used would feel well dodgey exiting a roundout using any throttle at all. If you like I'll have a butchers in the morning and tell you what model they are.

If they are still available BF Goodrich TA /R1..............road legal tyres I used to race on. I went from 17th to 4th in a wet race within 3 laps, overtaking Brian Robinson in his 2.7RS in the proces. Treasured moment.[:D]

I only really use the 924 if going on a run and it's too wet for my old 911, so with me too the wear wasn't an issue as I probably only do about 1000 miles a year in it. They certainly worked well enough on the aborted Portmerion run recently [:D]
