Just a quick question really if anyone has any opinion which brand are best and why?
Michelin PS2, Bridgstone, Pirelli P Zero, Conti Contact Sport, and do you rate the N rated tyres approved by Porsche?
Just looking round at the moment, as I need a set of 4! ouch! ;-(

I found Bridgstones to be a good tyre for the 4S.

The Pirellis are far too noisey and the Michelins too difficult to get hold of and expensive.

Having run a total of 80,000 miles in total in my 4S over 6 years, I think I had a fair chance to run all of them.

Good luck

When I had my C4S it was on Conti Sports but it was new at the time.
3 years of owners ship never had a problem with the Contis so when it was time to replace the rears I went for the same, good all round tyre at a reasonable price at the time.
Cliff.
Ps there all round and black but do go for N Rated

Will give the Pilot Sports a go I think after reading reviews on the 911UK forum too. Apparenly the OPC offer a geometry set up as well, so will be interesting to see what difference that makes.

+1 for N2 Contis

14k miles on my 4S & still has 4-5mm on & that included a 'novice' track day at Blyton Park

going to be doing 2.5k miles in Europe soon & will def opt for them again

Event tyres always competetive & they come to you.....
