Tyres for 997 Turbo

Hi Guys,
I sold my C4S on Saturday and have bought my dream car a black/black 997 Turbo. I need to change the rear shoes...everywhere I check I cannot find Michelin PS2's anywhere all back order. I like them mainly for the rim protector (sad I know). Any advice on other tyres Pirelli P Zero Rosso ok?
Anywhere you know that has some?...I am based in London
Cheers

I got some rear Michelin PS's a couple of weeks back from Kwik Fit, next day delivery, probably not the same size but maybe worth a try, cheaper than the internet sellers too.

Congratulation on the new baby, mine also is black on black, manual with sunroof.

Was thinking of changing the shoes on my car also , presently Continentals which have found disappointing. What is the general preference out there? Michelin PS2 or Pirelli P0 Rosso? Anyone also has the new wheels with the center hub? any good?

:))

Not sad at all, one of my reasons for liking the Bridgestones are their rim protector...
I went to Pirellis once and noticed one thing... no rim protector!! and of course it was the one and only time I got to close to the kerb [:(]
Grip wise they were great..

I've also ran Contis and loved the lack of noise from them and the grip.. however the wear rate was being belief at 3K on the rear!!! [:(]

General views expressed on previous posts here weighs in favour of Bridgestone for the Turbo, Michelin PS for the normally aspirated.

I have driven the TT with P-zero's phenomenal grip but turbo owners seemed to indicate and unacceptably short tyre life.
