I will need to replace two front tyres in the next month or so--225x40x18 n2's----can anyone please let me know who can be recommended or have had good and good value service from. I have spoken to the Kwik fit garage here in ilkley and they are quoting £298 for two Bridgestone tyres fitted---there is of course the issue of ensuing that newly refurbished allows are kept pristine, etc. I would prefer to keep Bridgestones as they will match the rears. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve

Give Costco a call in leeds - they order the tyers in for you and are very cheap.

They will be N rated and any make you wish

Many thanks for the suggestions--I will start with Costco in Leeds and double check with blackcircles.

Maurice re the N specs--I printed off your spec sheet before i started calling arond--the tyres are currently N1's which according to your sheet are for the narrow body cars. I would like to match the Bridgestones on the back--the guy at kwik fit seemed to think that the N2's were a softer tyre than the N1's

In terms of colour--the car is one of the Pastel yellow cars--not that many about and a colour you either love or hate.

Maurice--thanks for the offer--I had a look at the http://www.blackcircles.com/ site ant the cost of the tyres were within £10 of kwik Fit--but without the fitting, etc. What have been the problems with KwiK Fit---I know that I will need to order the tyres in advance--and having just had the wheels refurbished I don't want to have to do that again.

Try mytyres.co.uk & camskill.co.uk some tyres are cheaper than Blackcircles, mail order.

I've found Alba tyres in Leeds seem to be the best fitted prices.
