Tyres / Preasure

All,

First question of the new year :)

I have the following tyres on my Cup 1 16" alloys - and am after what tyre preasures people recommend..

So I have:
Front - 205/55 ZR16
Back - 225/50 ZR16

So - what tyre preasures do people recommend / run with these size tyres?

Cheers Anthony

AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL..

This is the problem: different manuals say different things. None of the answers above are incorrect...

I ran 32PSI all round on my 17s, but am now back on 15s at 32PSI rear and 29PSI front. (The fronts were just fitted, and the garage put them to that pressure not me - I'll up them to 32 at some point).

On another note, I did get a lot of wear on the inner shoulders of the 17" rear tyres, but my indie said it's due to 944 tracking. (I had 8" wide tyres at the back). Thinking about it though, I suppose it could be an affect of too low a tyre pressure too?

D90's here as well, and I run 38psi all 'round.

Yes, it is hard, but the car does respond beautifully with it.

Oli.

I have koni shocks also (adjusted to about 60%) - so will go for 36 and see how harder it makes it.

TBH I love the koni feel -certainly not crashy yet handle brilliant! so lets see..

thanks guys
A
