tyres pressure

hi everybody , the car is a 92 C4 I am running 18" rims 225/40 front 265/35: back Michelin pilot sport , the pressure I set them is 36 psi front and 44 at the back is that right ?
I suppose for the front but for the back is it not to much?

Those are the standard pressures for the original D90 16 inch wheels.

I've been reliably informed to use 36 psi both front and back for my 17 inch Cup1 wheels and maybe drop the pressure of the fronts by a couple of psi and see how the car reacts. I would think 44 at the back for your 18s is way too high.

18" tyres should be run 36 front, 44 rear. the same as teh 16" tyres. 17" tyres are run 36 all round.

Don't lower the rears to 36, it will handle horribly when cornering, it will squirm like crazy. these pressures are what I run my 18"s on and what are recomended even by my OPC Lancaster Colchester.
