Tyres - Were to buy

I have had my tyres fitted at Alba, they have branches in Bradford and Leeds. The Leeds branch has the latest machine which should prevent the rims from being scratched. I do not know how good Alba are for pricing.

North East tyres and Exhausts are supposed to offer PCGB members a discount, nearest branch is York on 01904 692500.

Let us know how you get on.

I bought my last set from www.mytyres.co.uk they even deliver for free! The only problem is that you have to arrange to get them fitted independently. The cost vary's quite a bit for this from £5 to £20 per corner! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Need new tyres after Elvington?

I think Elvington may have helped with the wear [:D][:D][:D][:D]
But it was bloody good fun [:)]

Jacob are looking at any track days this year ??

I'm likely to start this year off at croft in may with bookatrack - are you thinking of doing any?

Don't know whether you have bought the tyres yet but I have just put two 285/30/18 N4's on my 993 C2S at Strasse - £210 each including VAT, balancing etc. Tried a couple of other places and this seemed a decent price in comparison (others ranged from £230 to £290).
You'll probably upset me now by telling me you paid the equivalent of a bag of pork scratchings! But if not I hope this helps.
Cheers
