Tyres

That's great as far as it goes but it makes no mention of 15" wheels for 944s which is the original equipment on most early cars (cookies) despite saying from '82 on. Usual Porsche looks good works well but not the full story! Ignores practical considerations.

I suppose in that instance you would use the approved 15" tyres listed for the 924. However it is rather worrying that one of them is the almost universally hated Pirelli P6000. Maybe the main criteria was longlife and lack of grip for years of sideways fun :ROFLMAO: I still think it's fantastic that a manufacturer would dig out several test cars from their collection going back to the 1960's and then test loads of modern tyres on them. What other car maker does that, nearly fifty years after the car is out of production? [:)]

ORIGINAL: Diver944 However it is rather worrying that one of them is the almost universally hated Pirelli P6000.
Yes, terrible tyres, if anyone has any, I'll force myself to take them off your hands and wear them out! I was going to say that I have covered best part of 100k miles on them wthout any problems... then just remembered I fell off the road recently on them:-(
