Tyres ....

I‘m finding my way round the Porsche world having owned my first example, a C4S Cab 991.1 2014 for a little over a year. I need to source a set of tyres ..... any thoughts? And what would be the quietest option?

I think you're stuck with Porsche N0 rates tyres then...either the Pirelli P Zeros Or Michelin Pilot Sports...

I currently have the PZero's (Summer) as only bought my first Porsche last October. And have a set of Michelin Alpin Winter Tyres in use at the moment.

I think I'll consider the Michelins though for my next set of Summer tyres when required.

Yes Brian, I'm led to believe that the Michelins are quieter and seem to have a greater mileage/life expectancy. But that's all relative to driving style...:)
In terms of purchase I would consider both Black Circles and MyTyres as online sourcing options as well as your local CostCo Tyre fitting outlet (for Michelins in particular). Keep a look out for the 2 and 4 tyre discount offers. I've bought 4 tyres for previous cars with their offer and they've kept 2 for fitment later. CostCo also fill with nitrogen rather than air if this is a consideration for you
All the best

I hit a pothole on Christmas Eve and my rear nearside deflated within a few seconds. I limped home without damaging the rims and had for an extra £10 the rear tyres replaced at my home address with balancing etc. I am pleased with the result and now will try for compensation from he local council. Kwik fit were by far the cheapest for P Zero N rated tyres.
