Tyres?

Hi going to order some tyres up in the next few days and I am going from the current tyres on the car on the ones to order.
These look okay for price and model ect.. or does anyone have better tyres or place to buy from, I can get maybe £90.00 cheaper from blackcircle.

I'm not sure where you're from but STS Tyrepros recently did me a full set of the N rated Bridgestones for my C2S - £865 all in.
They're worn in now and a very good tyre with excellent rim protection.

You also need to make sure the quoted ones are N rated - they don't seem to be on the quote you've shown
 
Yer I noticed that but the ones from blackcirlce were N rated, or I can get the conts sport contact 3 (n2) rated for all 4 at £959 I had those on my 996 last year and like them but they seemed soft.
I have never had bridge on any of my cars, so would be willing to give them a try .
 
I paid less than a grand for a full set of Bridgestones....
10% off at Protyre(PCGB discount), which made them even better value..

wonder if there is any discounts for being on porsche insurance, i dont think so.
I know QF offer 15% off there tyres for being on their insurance however they are a tyre provider so thats proberly why.
I may just pay the £1131 from black circle for a set, they have always been pretty good with their pricing and delivery last time was just under 10 hours to my door.
 
costco often have deals

£908 for michelin N rated inc fitting, can take tyres away and have within one year of purchase at no further cost, so got mine in december 10, in my garage ready for a post track day swap on my current tyres

I spend thousands there per year and I am a gold member I will call in tomorrow thanks alot
 
I replaced my Michelins with Bridgestone on my C2S Gen2. I got them for £800 from Reading OPC (as part of a service cost). Whilst I was initially not impressed, it turned out to be a geo issue. With a Centre Gravity geo the level of grip now is awesome wet or dry. I expect I won't get the same life out of them now now but the driving pleasure is two fold!

I note that your tyre selection above is for the new 'super sport' and as such I believe not currently produced in a Porsche approved N rated version. If this isn't a problem for you then that's your choice but beware.

I do alot of driving, being self employed I spend most of my time driving around while my company more or less runs itself.
I would expect to change my tyres once a year, I would say I cover 15k per year so I am thinking michs are a tuff tyre..
 
I just got 2 front michelin ps2 295 35 r19 87y N2 fitted this weekend for approx £480. might not be the best price... but the service was great from blackboots in amersham.

the "boss" machine was impressive. if you have ever watched a tyre place remove and replace your tyres on the traditional "jig" type machine, you will probably have a few moments when you think that they're being a bit rough with your precious rims!! "the boss" is impressive because there's no more struggle to fit our huge rims on the jig and it's all machine driven so no crowbar required!
 
I purchased a couple of rear tyres from Black Boots recently, I agree the service there is very good.They happened to have a pair of N1s in stock which saved me from having to change all 4 tyres for N2s. The price was competitive. I agree, the automated tyre fitting machine is impressive.

My recollection is that Black Boots are in Chesham not Amersham and I assume your front tyres were 235s not 295s!
