Has anyone else had a problem with sourcing Mitchlin tyres? early this year I needed a new set of rearson my Boxter S. I could not find a pair anywhere. The driver from my OPC come to collect the car for its first service and refused to take the car as the tread was below 1mm.I had at that point been trying for over a month to obtain two rear Mitchlin's, I had the people who supply my OPC looking plus all the national tyre suppliers.I was not to pleased at this point especially as my OPC could not sauce any either. They were very scathing of Mitchlin and told me that it was a regular thing for Mitchlin to run out completley. Mitchlin told my OPC that no stock would be avaliable for at least 3 months. I also had a contact who is one of the largest tyre wholesalers in the UK. He confirmed that there was not one pair of Mitchlins in the UK, he also said that Mitchlin was without doubt the worst tyre manufacturer to deal with and were very unhelpful regardless of the problem. I had to buy four Bridgestones.
