The Continentals on 18" turbo wheels currently fitted to our Cayenne S won't get far past 12,000miles. Friend has similar Cayenne but steel springs - this has done well over 20,000 on Continentals.
Apart from the springs the only difference is that ours spends most of its time on tight country lanes, his on the motorway - often towing.
Now I know it's not just the weight of my right foot thats involved here. Is the suspension and type of road sufficient to account for this difference or should I be looking for some other factor?
