I spotted this panel (circled in red) in an american ebay listing and wondered did the UK versions of the early 944 have this panel too?

I can't remember my 924 having one.... but the bonnet release is in the left footwell, so possibly it wasn't fitted in RHD versions to give access for that? Also the supplementary fuse box was under there too. Sorry to be vague, I could be wrong - it's a while ago.
Cheers,

Funnily enough I was wondering about 1 of those the other day for the red 924S,as it has pressed steel brackets under the glovebox clearly for such a cover ,but no cover -neither does my wife's 1986 924S,or brackets.[&o]

No it doesn't-went & checked -my wife's grey 1986 924S actually has a moulded panel adjacent to the centre console which attaches to a pressed steel bracket-this covers heater ducting but finishes level with the glovebox-clearly the bracket in the red one is for the same panel but I haven't got one-doh1

I was told many years ago that Porsche never bothered to make the right hand drive version of these under dash panels either for the 924S or 944.
