Under seal

After getting my head under my rear wings i noticed that some of the under seal is a bit worse for wear. After pulling some of it off there seems to be quite a bit of damp dirt behind it.Obviously all the loose stuff will have to come off and then get a jet wash under there to clean it up. What would be best to use to re paint it. As i dont have access to an air compressor it will have to be in spray tins what about wax oil is this stuff any good? [FONT=verdana,geneva"]

What I would do is;
Scrape back a little more underseal to ensure its all sound...
Clean it up with a wire brush.
Treat any bare metal with rust eater followed by Hammerite
If its an area which is likely to get hit by stones etc.. I would also apply something like Tetroseal.. (sets like tar and provides a bit of protection)
Finally I would apply some waxoil ensuring it runs into all the gaps and corners in the bodywork..

Both Tetroseal and Waxoil come in Aerosol form, or you can just apply them by a brush..

Adam.
