Underside of bonnet

Hello,
The foam stuff that is stuck to the underside of my bonnet is disintegrating. Does anyone know the correct name for this stuff and if it can be replaced?

It always does.

It is usually called 'a bloody nusance'

I believe that description is very accurate. I'm in the process of replacing mine. It took 3 steam cleans and an awful lot of tar remover and other solvents/detergents. Good luck with yours.
 
I got mine off with a pressure washer just a few minutes and then a couple of hours cleaning the engine bay... Maybe I should have used some tarpauline [8|][:-]
