Unknown creaking from rear

First up apologies for the complete lack of my technical ability in this post!

When I'm coming to a halt after a quick run of 10 mins or so, there's a very noticeable creaking that seems to come from the rear right side when I stop. It seems to happen at the point when the weight moves off the fronts (which are obviously loaded up under braking) and returns to being on all four wheels. It sounds like it's from the right but it might just be because that's nearer me...

The front wishbones were changed last year and I have just had all 4 dampers replaced with Bilsteins. I don't think this is connected with the damper change as it started just before I had them changed. The car's in for a 24k service next week so any advice before then is much appreciated!

Thanks
Mark

Get them to spray Wd40 on all the joints/bushes at the rear suspension,if it stops they have dried out and maybe cracked/need replacing.
Also have the engine mounts checked.
Otherwise its probably one of the rear brake componants moving with the rear wheel as it settles down.

Hi -
I'm new to your forum and had the same creaking on my 993. I had a 4 wheel alignment done last week with kinematic toe adjustment in rear of vehicle. The creaking is now gone. Specs may be out of line. When was your last alignment done? Potholes will do this over time.
