Unlocking Problem

The key on my 981 unlocks the driver's door but will not unlock the passenger door. The manual says that you have to press the unlock button again within 5 seconds but it does not appear to work. The key will also unlock both the frunk and boot. I have replaced the battery in the key and the car battery is fine and kept on a battery conditioner when not in use.

Could this just be a fuse or a door control module? The car is going in next week to my local OPC for a service so I was going to raise it with them but wanted members thoughts first?

The car is under a Porsche warranty so I would hope that it is covered!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Don't have a 981 so can't be certain but is there an option in the menus related to this - if I remember correctly in older models there is an option to selectively unlock drivers or both doors

Check the fuse first although I suspect other stuff might not be working can't be the cause doing just one door but you never know.
Could Bet He door actuator module or maybe just resetting.
Good luck with the fix.

Cliff,
Thanks. I will check the fuses just in case and also see if I can change the unlock settings in the PCM. Failing that the OPC will have to sort it out.
See you at the next R3 event.
