Unsold Mountain To Shift

Don't know personally how accurate this info is but a used Porsche specialist told me this week there are over 1200 brand new unsold Porsches (all flavours) in the UK and discounts of upto 20% are being offered to help shift the metal!

With new Aston Martin Vantages being dicounted by up to £20k and registered delivery mileage old model examples between £30-40k off list the 20% off a new Porsche would seem quite feasible [&o]

I keep hearing horror px prices being offered to potential trade up customers so all in all very 1990's again []

A week and a half ago I was looking at which dealer stock GEN2 C2S would best meet my spec. due to Porsche offering a 5k incentive on any Porsche part ex ( a discount in effect) whilst down to about 4 cars with potential porsche pulled the incentive on a friday morning on sports cars although still in place on Cayennes. My opc managed to get a weekend's stay of execution for me but due to other commitments and not wanting to select a car under pressure I backed off. Last week I cancelled my GEN2 order for next March in frustration of Porsches marketing rollercoaster. I think if the 911 incentive/discount was back on my dealership would be in touch straight away. Perhaps its just cayennes and unsold Boxsters and Caymans ahead of the new facelift your source is referring to.

i asked how much my car would be worth trade in and it was a lot less than i thought - even though i expected a big hit - have only had it a year and its a 2005 987 - the number started with a one...... 5k better offer if i trade in for a new one......the same spec and colour so no point. i'm in for the long term on this one now (hoping to god that the new rms will be the last one i need)......ah well.

Sales down by 35%+ this year so unless someone turned the RHD supply down there must be a lot of cars stuck in the sales pipeline somewhere

2005 987 "S" 9600 dry miles only and cost new just over £42k ... was told I would be lucky to get a penny over £18k so me and Boxster number 5 shall have a lot more time together [8D][8D] Roll on next summer and lets hope it's a hot one

yes all cars have dropped to silly prices but a big reason to part ex my 2006 boxster with same miles and tlc as many peoples cars is the fact im fed up with paying a stupid amount £400.00 car tax when older cars pay less in fact about half that !! the factors as usual dont make sense ![]

Seen a new Anniversary Boxster and a 911 in a non OPC dealer near Greenock at the weekend. Can't remember the dealers name but sure somone on the forum will.
Looks like my 03 Boxster will be with me for a long time to come given the sily second hand price and the new car price. You only make a loss on depreciation when you sell!!

Try stuartmckay cars or stuartmckay prestige cars used to be sales manager at Glenvarigel has been on his own now for a good few years I spoke to him a few weeks ago and seems to be moving cars a nice showroom and nice stock
