Untimely death of Tony Crossthwaite

I am sorry to be the bearer of sad news for those who remember him, but Tony was killed in a motor cycle accident on Saturday afternoon near Preston.
When I started the Lancashire & Cumbria Region in the early 1990's Tony was an early member who also supported our Annual Concours events with the Furthest Travelled Trophy. He did this until I retired from the RO's position in 2003.
A real fun loving guy who lived life to the full and was a member of the club in the 90's when he had a 964 C2.
In recent years Tony and his partner Amanda became great friends to Ann Marie and I and we shared some terrific times together. We even had a common bond of bad backs!
He was only 46 years old and he will be sorely missed.
